The membership of US-CCA consists of community leaders, community communications products and service vendors, and other professionals involved in designing and building connected communities Membership in US-CCA enables you to meet, collaborate with, and become friends with others how are committed to expanding the public's access to quality high-speed communications. Your contacts in US-CCA can help you learn from the mistakes and successes of others, and will lead you to people who can be a part of your team. In US-CCA you can find the strategic contacts that have the experience and information that you need. The Member Directory enables you to locate people by expertise, community, interest, and type of project.
Library of Resources
US-CCA is building a library of reference materials that will provide resources for learning about and implementing successful methods and technologies ot help create and grow your connected community. Some resources will be available to the public to communicate the importance of and standards for a connected community in future communications. Other materials directly related to the design and implementation of technologies and policies will be reserved for access only by members.
Educational Webinars
US-CCA plans a regular schedule of member webinars to provide a recurring platform where experience and knowledge can be shared among the members. Special guest speakers will share principles, methods, and technologies that will be valuable in your establishing and maintaining your connected community.
Policy Influence
Government policies play a large role in establishing effective connected communities. US-CCA and its members provide a voice for communicating both need and experience to governmental decision makers to encourage wise policy development that effects the successful implementation of connected communities.
