Privacy protection is critical to the United States - Connected Community Associaton (US-CCA). US-CCA is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of customer information. Our policies are designed to protect personal identification information. US-CCA provides the following privacy protections:
US-CCA may collect personal information for the purposes billing, providing customer service, surveys, provision of services and other exchanges of information.
US-CCA will use information received via e-mail or regular mail from customers and other individuals only for purposes reasonably related to the subject matter of communication.
US-CCA does not target children for collection of personal information. US-CCA is committed to protecting the privacy of information on children and maintaining parental control of information about their childre. US-CCA does not accept information from children.
US-CCA will continue to enhance and improve its privacy protection as technology and marketplace expertise enables us to do so to ensure that our partners, customers, and attendees feel confident and secure about their privacy protection. US-CCA is not responsible, however, for use of personal information that is obtained independently by third parties.
US-CCA requires online registration to attend conferences or workshops. We may use your personal registration contact information to communicate with you about US-CCA and its functions by e-mail, fax and/or postal mail. We also may share this information with our exhibitors and sponsors (clients). Our clients may send you promotional material that is related to municipal broadband networks and related information. We may also use your IP address internally and share it with third parties.
Upon registering to attend a US-CCA function, we and our designated third party provider, need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us, or third party providers, to process and fulfill your registration request. This information may also be used by us to notify you of US-CCA products, services, or activities. Credit card numbers, medical and emergency contact information will not be shared or sold to third parties for any purpose. Email addresses may be shared and/or sold as provided in this Privacy Policy.
